Paul H. Henning was a professional location photographer for 15 years. He co-owned and directed Milwaukee's only commercial stock picture library (Third Coast Stock Source) for 12 years. Following the sale of Third Coast in 1997, he worked in London as Manager of European Operations for Comstock, a world leader in stock imagery, and later as Acting Managing Director for the Robert Harding Picture Library (also in London). In 1999, he returned to Milwaukee to found his current company, Stock Answers, a consultancy that works with stock libraries and photographers worldwide. He is a frequent presenter, panelist or moderator at picture industry seminars on the subject of stock photography. Henning is also a former vice president and president of the Picture Archive Council of America (PACA), the North American trade association of stock picture agencies, and currently serves on the board of directors of the Midwest chapter of the American Society of Picture Professionals (ASPP).
