  Susan M. Schumacher  

Susan M. Schumacher received a Bachelors Degree in Zoology, State University of New York at Oswego in 1986, and a Masters Degree in Biology, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1989. For eleven years she worked at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, as a wetland and waterway regulatory biologist, a wildlife biologist and park naturalist. Ms. Schumacher is currently employed by We Energies as Senior Ecologist. In this position, she works with engineers on the planning, development and operation of various energy projects throughout Wisconsin. This involves completing environmental assessments, identifying potential environmental issues and collaboratively working to avoid and minimize potential risks to the environment. Ms. Schumacher is currently working on the proposed Glacier Hills Wind Park in Columbia County.
