Michelle Mason is managing director of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). In this role, she concentrates on business development and membership initiatives. Michelle serves as a member of the four-person ASQ management committee, which leads the organization in the execution of the Society's vision, strategic objectives and business plan. Mason served as vice president of research programs for the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Foundation in Washington, D.C. She has 20 years experience in association management with the last eight years at ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership. Prior to ASAE & The Center, Mason worked for the formerly Chemical Manufacturers Association, now the American Chemistry Council. Mason is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), with an MBA from the University of Maryland, a second master's degree in management with a not-for-profit concentration from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Strayer University.
