Alan Waite is a business executive, certified life and corporate empowerment coach, consultant, teacher, author, and founder and president of PRAXIS - an organization that promotes Integrity in both personal and professional life. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of the Trans-Atlantic Environmental Foundation, a 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to implementing waste-to-energy technologies in sub-Saharan Africa, and sits on the board of the Timao Foundation. Alan has seven years corporate experience and 25 years of public service, having managed in three major California State government initiatives - development and implementation of the State's Direct Deposit System, creation of a biweekly payroll system, and making the business case for the State's new $200 million personnel/payroll system. He was Senior Vice President and Board Chairman for NVS Technologies, Inc., an environmental bio-remedial corporation, and Vice President of Pallas Productions, a Northern California recording company. In addition, he has been involved in several political campaigns and public interest advocacy organizations. Holding an M.A. in Modern European History and a certification from the International Coaching Federation, he is an author and researcher of historical topics ranging from Western American history to the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials. Alan also teaches public speaking and business and professional writing. He has worked with a wide variety of private and public groups, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Sandia National Laboratories, NAFTA, the United States House of Representatives, the California State Legislature, the Governor's Office of the State of California, Bank of America, SEIU, AFSME, Time-Warner, Inc., and a variety of local and national news organizations.
