  Jean Creighton  

Dr. Jean Creighton grew up in Athens, Greece, where she got her undergraduate degree in Physics.
Her interest in Astronomy sent her to Halifax, Nova Scotia for a Masters in Astronomy and to Waterloo, Ontario for a Ph.D. in Astrophysics. She had the opportunity to work as a postdoctoral researcher at the California Institute of Technology. She has been teaching formal astronomy courses at UWM since September 1999; she also teaches astronomy as the Director of the UWM Planetarium since January 2007 to a variety of audiences including school groups, birthday parties, and senior groups. She loves sharing her love of the cosmos with everyone.

College for Kids/Teens Summer 2013 Office
will be located in the Union, Rooom 143
Our summer office will be located in the Student Union, 2200 E Kenwood Blvd., room 143. We can be reached by phone (414) 229-6364. We will be at this location from June 1 - Aug. 15, 2013.

Scholarship Applications No Longer Being Accepted
As of May 21, 2013 our scholarship allotment has been reached. We will no longer be awarding scholarships for the Summer of 2013.
