  Patricia Werner  

Patty Werner is the Planning Supervisor for Lake County Stormwater Management Commission where she develops watershed, flood mitigation, and green infrastructure plans, and has managed stormwater best management practices and stream restoration projects. Prior to her current position, Patty directed the Sierra Club Wetlands Project in Indiana. Patty is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, is a Certified Floodplain Manager, has Master of Science degrees in Environmental Science and Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from Indiana University Bloomington Indiana. She has served on the Board and as president of the Liberty Prairie Conservancy (now Conserve Lake County) and the Upper Des Plaines River Ecosystem Partnership.
