Mike De Sisti is the multimedia picture editor at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a 300,000-circulation newspaper that covers the greater Milwaukee area and the state of Wisconsin. His work there includes multimedia production, photographer and reporter video/audio training, and working on the picture desk as a picture editor. Mike is a native of the northwest suburb of Chicago, Crystal Lake, IL. He graduated from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale with a fine art photography degree. After graduating in 1996, he free-lanced for The Elgin Courier daily newspaper in the Chicago area. He accepted an internship at the Post-Crescent in Appleton, WI, in 1997 where he was later hired as a full-time photojournalist. Mike has been at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel since April of 2008.
