Dinah Gant is currently the Engineering Manager for Milwaukee Water Works (MWW) where she and staff of twenty-one engineers and technicians serve as in-house engineering consultants for the Division of Milwaukee's Department of Public Works. Dinah has nearly forty years of professional experience in utilities and federal, state, and municipal government work across the United States with the last twenty one years with the City of Milwaukee. She has specialized in construction and contract management in an effort to insure that major construction projects are completed on time and within budget in accord with sound engineering practices. She is a native Arkansan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. Dinah is a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), American Public Works Association (APWA), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and Arkansas Academy of Civil Engineers (AACE). She also serves as a board member of The Next Door Foundation and its Finance and Administration Committee. She volunteers for PEARLS for Teen Girls, Inc. She is a founding member of the Delta Memorial Endowment Fund, Inc. (DMEF) and is a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an international public service organization.
