  Dea C. Wright  

Dea Wright is an alumna of UW-Madison where she majored in Journalism and Women’s Studies before completing a degree in Education at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.  She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Rockford College.  She also holds an associate degree in Child Care and Development.  

In her 15+ years of experience working with children and families of all backgrounds, her work included facilitation in the following: pre-natal classes for teens, stress-reduction classes for women, and parenting classes.  She has presented workshops at the local, state and national level on topics ranging from after school programs to parenting and diversity. 

Dea has also taught in early childhood programs in both the Milwaukee and Madison areas.  She has coordinated tutoring programs for youth and is currently a Master Teacher in the school age program at the UWM Children’s Learning Center, a nationally accredited program.
