  Linda Reid  

Linda Reid is an Associate Professor of Law in the Department of Finance and Business Law at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  She developed and leads the UW-Whitewater Water Business Program, created the College of Business & Economics' Water Business Minor, and is the faculty advisor to the University's Water Council student organization. Linda is an active member of the Milwaukee Water Council, and facilitates the University's activities as a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).

Linda's research interests include jurisdictional issues, the role of courts in influencing private business transactions, and transboundary water law issues.  She holds a Juris Doctorate (magna cum laude) from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she served as the research editor of the Arkansas Law Review, and is currently pursuing a PhD in International Water Law, focusing on business and the human right to water.
