Christine Hojnacki has her finger on the pulse of everything fashionable in Milwaukee. This retail industry veteran has produced events for many of the country’s greatest fashion brands and created some of Bon-Ton’s most memorable events.
Christine has been in retail for more than 20 years. Her career brought her to Milwaukee in 2002 and now works for The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., where she is Vice President of Special Events and Publicity. The Bon-Ton has corporate headquarters in York and Milwaukee and operates 272 department stores under the Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s, and Younkers nameplates. Christine is responsible for developing campaigns, fashion events, community involvement and strategies for the entire company.
One of the signature events Christine has created is Trendevous, a seasonal fashion show which presents the new trends and must-haves for spring and fall. Trendevous opens the season in multiple locations throughout the company, and is a highlight of Bon-Ton’s event calendar.
She has worked with well known designers and brands such as Calvin Klein, Jones New York, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Steve Madden, Isaac Mizrahi, Donald Pliner and Paris Hilton to name a few. Christine created the first ever pop up shop in downtown Chicago—and the first Boston Store Boutique in Milwaukee’s Third Ward for Fashion’s Night Out.
