Carol Michalski, MSW, LCSW is a life coach and professional development coach. A 30-year career as a therapist, trained by the originators of solution-focused therapy, Carol has a master's degree in social work from UW-Milwaukee and is a licensed clinical social worker. For the past 13 years she worked as a coach, counselor and consultant in the employee assistance field. In her current role, Carol helps individuals enhance their lives, work performance and relationships. Working together with her clients, she creates a customized plan to help them achieve their goals. Her unique combination of credentials, skills and experience differentiates her as a life coach.
Although she coaches diverse clients with a wide variety of issues, concerns and goals, her passion is working with clients in transition. Whether the transitions are personal, such as adjusting to a divorce or illness, or career related, such as finding an encore career, she has extensive experience in working with these issues. Working with clients who want to reinvent themselves is a particular passion of hers!
Carol also enjoys and has expertise in coaching individuals in the workplace who wish to enhance their careers. She assists clients in the areas of empowerment and engagement, personal branding, and effective communication. She helps clients identify their unique social style and to moderate or flex it when necessary, giving them the edge in the workplace! Her experience in the employee assistance field working with employees and employers gives her additional insight into the world of work.
