When she’s not writing about sparking people and movements, Berni owns and operates a consulting business serving entrepreneurs and small business owners on honing their professional development skills in business strategy, communication, marketing, networking, and sales.
Berni is a coach, strategy consultant, and speaker with experience spanning 12 years in sales and customer relations and 10 years specializing in business and marketing. She has been notably recognized as “5 Feet Tall with a 6 Foot Presence,” making hundreds of appearances across the U.S. and Canada giving inspirational talks to entrepreneurs, educators, business leaders, students, and women.
She has been featured in several publications and news outlets including The Business Journal, Huffington Post, and Business Unplugged. She has made multiple appearances as a guest on NBC’s Morning Blend and Milwaukee Public Television.
In her spare time, Berni collaborates on philanthropic projects that benefit depression and suicide prevention, parental alienation awareness, bullying and violence prevention, and sanitary education and clean water projects.
Berni received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Marketing from UWM. She also holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration (MBA) from Cardinal Stritch University where she graduated with high distinction and was inducted into Delta mu Delta, a national honor society in business administration. She is a trained professional coach and graduate of Coach University, the first and original coach certification training institute. She is also a certified Weight Management Specialist through American Council on Exercise (ACE).
