Patina Solutions

Debbie Seeger has spent her 25-year career working with companies on workforce solutions in both the staffing and professional services industries. She has pioneered new programs and solutions throughout her career for companies ranging from start-up/early stage to some of the largest companies in the country.

Since 1990, when Douglas Coupland first coined the phrase “Generation X,” Debbie has been researching the changing demographics and the effects of changing worker performance and attitudes in business. Since then, she has been sharing her knowledge and information with companies as a subject matter expert on workforce strategies and the changing work attitudes in the workplace – especially the effects the these changes will have on success and growth strategies in the new world of work. 

Debbie brings practical ideas and solutions to the ever-changing world of work and the challenges of recruiting, developing and retaining talent. She developed the first-ever Vendor on Premise program to provide staffing services on site at a client company, for which she received a Pericles, the Employment Management Association’s (now Society for Human Resources Management) award for an innovative, outstanding program in the area of workforce solutions. 

In 2008, Debbie joined Mike Harris (founder of Jefferson Wells), and together they are building a company called Patina Solutions. The company’s focus is on representing the most experienced and accomplished talent to companies in need of a flexible and cost-variable resource at the high end of experienced talent. Baby Boomers have been and remain an important component in a company’s performance strategy. And now, while companies are looking for new and creative ways to optimize the skills, knowledge and experience of the Baby Boomer generation, they make up 20% of the workforce.

Patina Solutions offers services that help companies accelerate their growth with interim leadership (executives, managers and directors), project management and project support services, advisory and consulting services, mentoring, and board placements. The company has more than 4,000 professionals who all have more than 25 years of experience, and are interested in working on a project- or engagement-basis, delivering services to clients across the country and in several international locations. Patina Solutions has plans to open in 25 markets in the next five years.
