Linda has more than 30 years of experience in management, facilitation and instructional design. She was the first certified Four Level Evaluator and Facilitator, and has advised clients on how to assess the effectiveness of their training evaluation processes and tools. Linda has worked with companies such as ADP, Jet Blue, Booz Allen Hamilton and e-Trade in sharing her evaluation expertise.
She collaborated with Jim Kirkpatrick on an article for the American Society for Training and Development’s (ASTD) "T+D" magazine entitled "Curricula and Evaluation: Maximizing Results," in which they explored the concept of designing curricula that are strategically aligned with organizational goals.
Linda has designed and led success-building sessions on leadership, customer relations, call-center customer service, team building, interpersonal communication, telephone techniques and job readiness for clients in federal and local government agencies, institutions of higher learning, and small to mid-size companies.
Since 2000, Linda has actively participated in the learning community, having served as the programs chair of the DC Metro Chapter of ASTD from 2000 to 2003 before moving into the position of president, which she held from 2004 to 2006. Linda remains active in ASTD national activities. She participates as a member in ISPI-Potomac, the Chesapeake Bay Organization Development Network (CBODN), Women in Technology, the Training Officers Consortium (TOC), and the E-Learning Guild.
Linda holds a Master of Education Degree in instructional technology from George Mason and a bachelor’s degree in management studies from the University of Maryland. She also earned certification as a Master Trainer from Langevin Learning Services.
