Dr. Sandra Stark taught for 35 years in Milwaukee Public Schools. The bulk of her career was at Rufus King High School in the International Baccalaureate, where she taught a course titled "Information Technology in a Global Society." She currently gives workshops for teachers of that course and marks exams for the IB as well. Interested in MOOCs, Stark has taken the online courses "Social Network Analysis," "History of the Internet," "What Plants Know," and "Gamification." She participated in a panel about MOOCs at Wiscon, the world’s first feminist science fiction convention.
