  Rebecca Vanderbeck

Rebecca Vanderbeck, P.E., ENV SP, is an environmental engineer with Burns & McDonnell, a 4,000-person consulting firm. She currently leads a growing office here in Milwaukee – creating a local presence for the nationally-ranked company. Rebecca has more than twelve years of experience in environmental and civil engineering, including corporate sustainability reporting, site investigations and soil characterization; environmental compliance, water and wastewater treatment system design; permitting, utility and infrastructure improvement project management, storm water control, and site civil design; pipeline routing and more. As a “seller-doer” for the 100% employee-owned firm, Rebecca is responsible for marketing and sales in Wisconsin as well as management of local projects.

Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, ages eight and four. She has a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors – fulfilled by walking the dog, biking with family and hiking trips. To balance her busy lifestyle as a working mom, Rebecca finds time to practice yoga and read science-fiction adventure novels.
