“Milwaukee Art Museum's Art in Bloom” Explore the unique perspective floral designers bring to the visual arts on display in the Milwaukee Art Museum. Their floral interpretations of the art in MAM's permanent collection offer new understanding and insight into the wonderful images displayed there. Suzanne Hanks grew up in Milwaukee in the 50s and attended Northwestern University in the 60s, majoring in anthropology. She married and had two children in the 70s, and became a CPA in Virginia in the 80s. Suzanne worked at Santa Monica College Foundation as the chief financial officer in the 90s, and returned to Milwaukee in 2007. She has been a docent at MAM since 2009, and recently became a member of the MAM Garden Club.
