"Patton's Lucky Scout" Take in stories, photos and memorabilia gathered by General Patton’s forward observer – PFC Frank Wayne Martin, who served in the Third Army during World War II. Nancy Martin helped her father-in-law author his memoir, Patton’s Lucky Scout, which highlights his experiences with the French underground, Lipizzaner rescue, Battle of the Bulge and many others, with humor and humanity. Martin is the facilitator of the Osher writing special interest group, leads Senior Storyteller workshops and writing roundtables in local senior communities, and writes personal histories for those that would prefer not to write themselves. She has a B.S. in computer science from the University of Kentucky, and also serves as a Computer Pal for those wanting in-home tutoring.
