Jerome "Jerry" Schulz serves as Manager of Application Development for the Milwaukee Public Schools. He is the author of "Information Technology for Local Government: A Practical Guide for Managers" (Publisher: International City and County Managers Association (ICMA), 2001). Jerry is a recognized speaker, presenting at the annual ICMA Conference in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005. His professional background includes 25 years of experience in information technology management and analysis. Gerry's past key postions are as follows: Manager of Information Systems for Waukesha County, Wisconsin; Director of Information Technology and Telecommunications for Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC); Information Systems Director, Milwaukee County Department of Social Services; and Program Analysis Manager for Milwaukee County. He is a graduate of Cornell University, majoring in government, and holds a master's degree in public administration from Roosevelt University. He serves as an adjunct faculty member in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Department of Public Administration and also in Cardinal Stritch University's College of Business.
