  Terrill (Terry) Jannsen

Terrill (Terry) M. Jannsen, CPA, is President of Jannsen & Company, S.C., a certified public accounting and business advisory firm located in Waukesha. Terry is also a licensed financial advisor and provides retirement planning and consulting to the valued clients of Jannsen & Company. Terry leads a dynamic, close-knit team of CPA's, technology advisors and business professionals who are dedicated to helping clients achieve sustainable, profitable growth within their companies and personal lives.

Terry Jannsen currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce as Past Chair for the Executive Committee. He is also involved with the Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation, Pewaukee Chamber of Commerce, Pewaukee High School Basketball Club and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Terry shares his business knowledge by educating entrepreneurs enrolled in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and -Whitewater Financial Management Series courses. Topics include The Basics of Financial Management, Using Financial Statements, Budgeting and Planning and Improving Cash Flow. "I like sharing some of my proven best practices and providing real world information to small business owners," explains Jannsen.

Many UWM Small Business students suggest enrolling in the program to help get their business properly up and running. "This is an excellent intro to a company's financial statements," states one student. "Terry is a very good instructor. He tailors the class according to the level of the participants."
