Michael J. Daun, MPA, recently retired, was the Deputy Comptroller for the City of Milwaukee. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations and responsibilities of the Comptroller's Office. As the Chief Financial Officer of the City, the Comptroller's Office is responsible for the City accounting, financial reporting, payroll, debt management, audit and revenue budgeting. Daun also performs capital investment analysis for proposed City economic development projects.
