Rick Finnie is owner of M. R. Mold & Engineering. M.R. Mold & Engineering of Brea, CA celebrated 25 years in business in 2010. In 1985, Rick Finnie opened M.R. Mold & Engineering with one employee. Finnie's journey ultimately leading to M.R. Mold began within his father's line of work, which was in tool and cutter grinding. After his dad closed his business in 1977, Rick worked for eight years for a leading west coast mold maker and his knowledge of Liquid Silicone began.

Within the last 30 years, having gained intricate knowledge of the LSR industry, M.R. Mold has developed their own cold runner system, universal base and automation which enables M.R. Mold to offer its customers every option for the project needs. Rick possesses a unique sense of problem solving, which is extremely important in dealing with LSR tools. These distinct characteristics have led to the present day accomplishments of M.R. Mold.

Today, M.R. Mold & Engineering is known globally for its EXPERTISE and EXPERIENCE in high quality liquid silicone rubber (LSR), gum stock silicone, plastic injection molds. In 2012, M.R. Mold is home to 27 employees in a 15,000 sq. ft facility with four million dollars of state-of-the-art machining equipment. We believe in 'American Made'.
