  Research  
The Employment and Training Institute research work includes:

  • Job openings studies, conducted with the Private Industry Council of Milwaukee County, identify the job titles, education and skill requirements, location and pay of job openings in the metro area.

  • Neighborhood indicators and purchasing power analyses, prepared collaboratively with the City of Milwaukee, aid economic development of central city neighborhoods and commercial districts.

  • Analysis of welfare policies and administration aid state and local governments in improving programs and services for lower-income families and children.

  • Research on barriers to employment for Milwaukee workers help policy makers in addressing labor force needs and improving utilization of the Milwaukee workforce.
