You could become a part of this important process by participating in College for Kids SMILE program - Sponsorship Money Investing in Lifelong Education. SMILE dollars will provide tuition for children from low-income families to take part in College for Kids. Our predetermined amount of scholarship money barely addresses the needs of many potential young scholars. Each summer, at least 100 children are unable to attend due to lack of financial resources. These children's names are placed on a waiting list. Unfortunately, very few of them are accommodated. We are working very hard to match those in need with donor sponsors. One of our goals is to eliminate the summer waiting list. For further information, please call our office at 227-3360. |
