Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is a membership organization for adults 50 and over who understand that quality of life is enhanced through lifelong learning.
As an Osher member you can take short courses, go on local tours, attend special events, join an informal interest group, and network at social events. These rich and varied learning experiences are tailored to meet the changing interests of members, whether in literature, art, history, language, politics or science.
Anyone 50 years old and over who has a passion for learning can join. Osher is for people of all educational backgrounds. You do not need to be a UWM graduate or otherwise associated with the University. There are numerous benefits to becoming a member from meeting other like-minded people to learning a new subject.
Joining Osher is the perfect way to expand your knowledge while meeting over 900 other like-minded, active, older adults.
Membership is tracked quarterly. Renewal invoices are sent out in the middle month of each quarter. For example, if you paid your membership in April, May or June, you are in the Spring Quarter and your membership invoice will arrive in May. Membership is still good for 12 months, and money will never be automatically withdrawn from your bank account.
Winter: January, February, and March--Expires March 31st of the next year Spring: April, May, and June--Expires June 30th of the next year Summer: July, August, and September--Expires September 30th of the next year Fall: October, November, and December--Expires December 31st of the next year
