More

The courses are represented in a basic format and certainly do not cover the topics in great detail. Consider them as a rough introduction for VA clinicians, teachers, and private civilian entities who will be working with our returning veterans.

The U.S. has been involved in "conflicts" for over 20 years. Such "conflicts" involved:

  • Persian Gulf War or Gulf War
  • Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
  • other operations in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT)

Because of these "conflicts", there has been an increased awareness of military members and their families left behind in the communities of the United States.
