| Ms. Shepard is a Director for the UWM Center for Diversity Learning. As director, she recently created a series of programs to assist and enhance learning for companies in the Wisconsin area. She is responsible for the design, development and recommendation of the overall Diversity programs and solutions at the Center for Diversity Learning. As Director, Ms. Shepard has helped many organizations execute diversity strategies and meet their training goals. She has also played an integral role in establishing several Diversity Councils in southeastern Wisconsin. As Director, Donna leads and facilitates workshops, meetings and discussion sessions, analyzes data, delivers client specific training and reports, conducts best practices research and provides coaching and feedback. Ms. Shepard has over 10 years of Human Resources experience with specific expertise in Diversity, Training and Development, Employee Relations. Before joining the UWM Center for Diversity Learning, Ms. Shepard was the Diversity Manager for one of the largest utilities in Southeastern Wisconsin. Ms. Shepard is also a Certified Diversity Practitioner (CDP) and Certified Business Coach (CBC). Ms. Shepard has worked on and managed global and domestic project assignments for Fortune 500 organizations. These assignments include: diversity management and strategy, mentoring, organizational effectiveness, staffing, retention and sexual harassment. Areas of expertise include diversity training design and delivery, focus group facilitation, coaching and development planning, and diversity coaching. Ms. Shepard is a graduate of Concordia University, Mequon Wisconsin (BS Business Communications Management) and a Masters of Management/Organizational Behavior, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), from the University of Phoenix, Wisconsin. Donna is also actively involved in the Latino Entrepreneurial Network (LEN) in her community, mentors teenagers, and manages the knowledge center at her church. Donna also is the principal and owner of TouchPointe(TM) Coaching an organization designed to coach behavior and performance change and specific training.
