After failing her first driver's test at age 16, Cathy could never have guessed what an "Ah Ha" moment it would turn out to be. Always the positive thinker, Cathy took her favorite quote, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are," to heart. She wrote an article about the experience for AAA Motor News, and thus began her 38-year journey as a journalist. Today she lives her passion for storytelling by writing engaging feature stories, profiles and public relations pieces for SCE. When Cathy finds time to take a break from her writing, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including two redheaded grandsons. She is actively involved in teaching ministries at her church, and her other pastimes include gardening, hiking, canoeing, volunteering, reading and traveling.
