Marcia Gabriel, LEED AP is an Outreach Specialist and Program Manager with the UWM School of Continuing Education (SCE) in the Center for Sustainability and Continuing Engineering Education. Marcia is responsible for developing educational programs focusing on Sustainability for the School and for the Community. Prior to joining the SCE, Marcia spent the past 11 years working for Hunzinger Construction Company/Sustainable Building Solutions (Brookfield, Wisconsin), as the Director of Hunzinger Construction University and served on the Project Management team. Marcia was named Green Educator of the Year in 2008 by Wisconsin Builder Magazine. She is a member of IFMA (International Facility Managers Association) and serves on their Education and Communications Committees, and is also a member of ISM Milwaukee (Institute for Supply Managers) and is a Certified Purchasing Manager. Marcia is a member of ME3 (Milwaukee's E3 Initiative) and a member of Racine Sustainable Business Network. She is also a member of the WGBA (Wisconsin Green Building Alliance) serving on the Education Committee and a Junior Achievement Volunteer. Marcia holds a BA in Business Administration from UWM with emphasis on Industrial Relations and Talent Engagement.
