Rachelle is the Program Director for the Career Transitions Center She has a strong background in vocational training, counseling, career coaching, and professional development. She is a Globally Certified Career Development Facilitator with over 12 years of experience in the field. She enjoys working with others to develop their personal and professional goals, while providing them with the most up to date job search skills.
Starting her career as a case manager for women in drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, she soon became the Manager of Vocation/ Education Services where she developed the Adult Literacy/GED Program, Job Readiness Curriculum and the DIVA Closet (featured in Positively Milwaukee on Today's TMJ4 and in the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel), providing professional clothes for women returning to the workforce.
Some of her other professional experiences include telephonic assessment and mental health counseling for Symmetry Employee Assistance Program, and more recently she served for 5 years as a Director of Career Services for a small private college, where she co-facilitated the Professional Development courses. She has also been a Career Coach for the CTC since 2008.
Rachelle earned a certificate as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) from UW Madison- Center for Education & Work. She also has a Master of Arts Degree in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, both from Alverno College.
Rachelle is a member of the National Career Association.
