| Pick has served in several capacities during her tenure at the UWM School of Continuing Education. For several years, she was Director of the Independent Living Program. This federal program provided direct services for over 500 Milwaukee County foster care youth transitioning to adulthood. Among her other professional experiences are: serving as interim department chair of the UWM Youth Work Learning Center; developing and implementing training programs for the Milwaukee Bureau of Child Welfare; and directing management training for the United States Postal Service. Pick currently is responsible for several training programs including Train the Trainer, Organizational Development, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, the Family Mediation certificate and the Autism Conference.
