IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

ART COURSES ARE CLOSED TO AUDITORS.

ART MAJORS FOLLOWED BY ART MINORS WILL HAVE PRIORITY REGISTRATION FOR COURSES REQUIRED IN THE MAJOR.

It is strongly recommended that all students have health insurance that includes emergency room and hospitalization coverage. The UWM Student Association offers a Student Health Insurance Plan http://www4.uwm.edu/studentorg/sa/executive/student_health_insurance.cfmwhich covers most major medical illnesses or injuries. The University does not provide blanket medical coverage to students. Students are strongly encouraged to secure their own health insurance, either through their parents, the Student Health Insurance Plan or some other program.

All Inter-Arts traditional track majors (excluding Interdisciplinary Arts & Technology and Musical Theatre) must meet with their academic advisor in the Peck School of the Arts Student Services Office prior to registration. A registration hold will be placed on the students record until an academic advising session is held. Upon completion of the advising session, the registration hold will be removed.. Call 229-4763 to make an appointment to see your Peck School of the Arts academic advisor.
