Geographic objects, their representation and analysis. Topics include special nature of spatial data; concepts of space, mapping, spatial relationships; and use of geographic information systems. 2 hrs lec, 2 hrs lab.

All students enrolled in the online GIS 215 course must have a suitable computer to run the ArcGIS software. Your computer must have the following system requirements

2.2GHz CPU, minimum, but hyper-threading or dual-core or better CPU strongly recommended
2.5GB of space to install the software, plus another 50MB of space in the Windows System directory
