Some Journalism, Advertising, and Media Studies courses are not open to University Special Students (including Summer Guest Students) or students who want to audit a course (written consent required to audit). Enrollment restrictions such as these can be viewed in the `Expand All' view of the Online Schedule of Classes, specifically in the `Notes' area following course prerequisites. 2. Students who enroll in a Journalism, Advertising, and Media Studies course without meeting all course prerequisites may be administratively dropped. See Registration portion of this Schedule for information about fees for students dropped by department. 3. Enrolled students who do not attend the first week of a Journalism, Advertising, and Media Studies course may be administratively dropped. A student who misses the first day of class should contact the instructor, either in person or via telephone / email.
