PHILOS-101: Introduction to Philosophy: (3 units; U ; HU)

Introduction to the philosophical thinking through examination of such topics as Plato's and Aristotle's contribution to Western civilization; free will and moral responsibility; God, morality, and knowledge.

PHILOS-111: Informal Logic - Critical Reasoning (3 units; U ; HU)

This course teaches students to identify, analyze, and evaluate arguments to rationally defend and criticize viewpoints, and to apply reasoning skills in practice.
