Introduction to the philosophy, evidence and applications of diverse medical and health care systems, practices, and products that are not generally considered part of conventional western biomedicine.

Development of full proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking skills in Spanish for students with native/near-native command of these skills.

Open only to heritage Spanish speakers. Others with near-native proficiency admitted at instr discretion. Students cannot receive credit for both 318 and 319.
