US Green Building Council
A nonprofit organization of building industry leaders who work to accelerate the adoption of green building practices, technologies, policies, and standards. USGBC develops, evaluates and upgrades the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) third-party certification system for high performance green building.

UW-Extension Solid & Hazardous Waste Education Center
The Solid and Hazardous Waste Education Center's (SHWEC) mission is to enhance Wisconsin's environment and economy by providing quality education, information and technical assistance to promote the sustainable use of natural resources. SHWEC faculty provides statewide technical assistance in many areas including: recycling, pollution prevention, composting, green building, energy, stormwater management, air quality, and sustainable community development.

Wisconsin Green Building Alliance
The Wisconsin Green Building Alliance (WGBA) facilitates and promotes the development and use of ecologically sustainable practices within Wisconsin's built environment. WGBA is a non-profit educational organization and affiliate of the US Green Building Council. WGBA provides green building educational and instructional programs, information sharing and networking.
