Counseling Students completing degrees in the Counseling Program have a wide variety of career options open to them in schools, mental health clinics, community agencies, counseling centers, rehabilitation agencies and higher education institutions. Students are trained to deliver counseling services in an ethical and sensitive manner to a diverse group of clients in urban settings.

Doctorate in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Counseling Psychology

Areas of Concentration
The M.S. program in counseling offers two concentrations:
  • Community Counseling
  • School Counseling
Additionally, the program offers a Ph.D. specialization in Counseling Psychology.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0
  • Minimum 18 undergraduate credits in the social sciences or related areas
