School Principal/Director of Instruction — Online Sequence
Director of Special Education and Pupil Services
Cohort Program
The Department of Administrative Leadership offers graduate students the opportunity to pursue a master's degree and/or DPI licensure in an off-campus accelerated cohort model. Students may pursue:
- A master's degree in Educational Administration, and/or
- DPI licensing credentials through a non-degree post-master's program.
Many candidates have successfully earned administrative licenses through sustained study with their peers in classes taught by UWM's nationally recognized faculty in convenient locations across Southeastern Wisconsin. The cohort model programs are offered for all licenses including the Superintendency. The two-year sequence of courses includes all requirements for licensure as a School Principal or Director of Instruction. Additional courses required for the Director of Special Education and Pupil Services, School Business Administrator, Superintendent, and Teacher Leadership programs are available on the UWM campus. Most candidates finish their programs within two years.
