Ken Barnes

Ken Barnes is a graduate assistant for the UWM curriculum department, and a full time doctoral student. Ken Barnes has a B.S. in Applied Science and Technology from East Tennessee State University, where he majored in digital media and animation.
Upon graduation from ETSU, he was hired by CNH Corp. (Formerly Case and New Holland before the merger) where he worked for several years as a engineering and digital media communications specialist with a host of duties including: engineering simulations, live action green screen, video editing and camera work, image enhancements, digital 2D and 3D animation for film and video, and a number of other technology related projects.
After leaving CNH in 2004, Ken Barnes was employed as a private contractor, working for several local SE Wisconsin organizations including, Milwaukee Public Schools, MMSD, CNH, Excel, UWM, Harley-Davidson, PIUS, Thomas More and others, in a variety of professional capacities.
Ken Barnes is currently pursuing a PhD at UWM in the Urban Education Doctoral Program, where he hopes to develop programs, curricula and develop technology arts access for urban kids, so that they may develop their own inner dreams…
