| Urban Day School is fortunate to have Mr. John Steinmiller, Vice President of Operations for the Bucks on its Board of Trustees. Urban Day is also thankful for its partnership with Sam's Hope Literacy Foundation. Sam's Hope makes it possible for students to have books at home by donating new books to Urban Day students throughout the year. |
Kindness Retreat
On November 15th, both Urban Day School campuses converged on the 12th street gymnasium to take part in a "Kindness Retreat." The retreat was sponsored and hosted by a group called Youth Frontiers, Inc. from Minneapolis, MN.
The retreat was a component of Urban Day School's character education program. It brought together 4th and 5th grade students and their teachers, for a day of music, dancing and activities based on trust, respect and having fun!
