Students at Bruce Guadalupe Community School (BGCS) created art that is featured at "The Big Idea" exhibit in the Latino Arts Gallery which is housed on the BGCS campus.  The Big Idea exhibit contains over 1,000 art pieces that showcase the connections students made with their artwork related to the math and language arts programs. The goal of The Big Idea initiative is to help students learn to make connections and critically think through different problems and concepts visually.  The program is sponsored as part of the Advancing Literacy and Math through Arts (ALMA) project.  The Big Idea exhibit runs through August 30th in the Latino Arts Gallery located at 1028 S. 9th Street.
