The Center, located on the UWM campus in Enderis 239, was established in 1995 by a core group of faculty from UWM who believed that the current issues of research and practice in early childhood related fields demand an interdisciplinary perspective.
The central function of the ECRC is to provide a formal organizational structure to support sustained interdisciplinary collaboration among UWM faculty and other professionals whose work focuses on young children and their families.
