UWM Virtual Library

The UWM Libraries provides support for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Distance Learning Students. All students pursuing an education through distance learning methods are entitled access to library resources and services equivalent to those provided for students in traditional campus settings.

Complete information about these services is available on the Libraries' Distance Education Services Web site.

University Information and Technology Services (UITS)

Formerly known as Information & Media Technologies (IM&T), the newly re-named UITS houses the Campus Solutions Center (CSC). This center provides answers to technology questions (computers, e-mail, and the Internet). In addition, UITS provides technology services to assist students in their course work and research as well as in the classroom.

All students are given ePantherIDs, which enable them to access email (PantherMail), Desire2Learn (D2L), personal calendars, and use UWM resources on the Internet. In addition to providing 24/7 support through the CSC, the UITS also provides training, printing, software discounts, computer discounts, and help with lost passwords.
