Admission Requirements for the Undergraduate Science ProgramGPA RequirementAt the time of application, applicants must have 58 credits with a minimum 2.5 GPA; and a minimum of 2.75 GPA in the science courses. The GPA will be calculated on all transfer and UW-Milwaukee course credits.
English Composition RequirementApplicants must achieve a placement level of 4 or higher on the English Proficiency Test, or complete English 102 or an equivalent with a grade of C or better.
Mathematics Skills RequirementApplicants must achieve a placement level of 30 or higher on the Math Placement Test or complete Math 105, or 106, or 175, or an equivalent, with a grade of C or better.
Communication RequirementApplicants are required to complete Communication 103 with a grade of C or better.
CURRINS 300 RequirementApplicants are required to complete CURRINS 300: Introduction to Teaching: Colloquium and Fieldwork, or an equivalent transfer course, with a grade of C or better.
Praxis I RequirementApplicants must pass all three sections of the Praxis I with minimum scores of 175 on the Reading portion, 174 on the Writing portion, and 173 on the Math portion.

Application DeadlinesA new cohort begins each year, approximately June 1. Applications are accepted during the months of September and January. However, if space permits, applications will be accepted after the January application period but no later than April 30. Contact advising to determine if space is still available.
