Frequently Asked Questions . . . of Critical Language Fellows

What should be my first point of contact with UWM?Explore our website to get many of your questions answered. In addition, all interested students should direct inquiries to our academic advisor for World Languages, Rachel Cocos. An appointment can be scheduled by calling (414) 229-4721.

What will be my first responsibility?A transcript evaluation is required for all Post Baccalaureate students to determine coursework needed to complete the program.

If you have a transcript from a school outside the United States, it must be evaluated by UWM’s Center for International Education. Rachel Cocos will refer you to the appropriate person.

Will I have to take courses in Chinese?Content and proficiency needs are determined on a case-by-case basis after a pre evaluation of previous coursework.
