These programs can be combined, and several can overlap.

For example, one can use the courses taken for Reading Teacher certification as part of a graduate degree. Early Reading Empowerment classes can count toward Reading Teacher certification. These programs may be "mixed and matched" depending on need.  All programs can be used as part of a Professional Development Plan.

  • Certifications: Reding Teacher 316 and Reading Speciallist 17 (formerly 317)

  • Graduate degrees with a reading focus: Master's and Doctorate degrees

  • Early Reading Empowerment (ERE)
