UW-Milwaukee/UW-Green Bay Cooperative Counseling Program
Thank you for your interest in the UWM-UWGB Cooperative Counseling Program. On this website we've provided the program requirements, application materials and a proposed sequence of courses. While we attempt to follow the sequence during the three-year period, there may be minor changes in course offereings. However, the overall plan of course offerings within the three-year cycle will remain. Courses will be offered in the evenings, weekends, and in some cases, online. Applicants are encouraged to apply online at http://www.gradschool.uwm.edu.

You must apply through UWM in order to participate in this cooperative. While you may submit your materials prior to the deadline, materials should be submitted to the Graduate School no later than April 1, 2008, the deadline for fall 2008 Green Bay cohort admission. Letters of Reference, the Personal Data Form, and Career Statement should be received by the Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling Area Chair no later than March 15, 2008. Decisions will not be made until after April 1, 2008.

Admission is competitive. Typically, about 50-60% of all applicants are admitted. Please note that there is only ONE admissions meeting in April 2008 and all applications are held until that time.

The program begins in Fall 2008 and continues for roughly three years with courses offered during the summers. However, students have up to five years to complete the degree.
