UWM School of Education Fall Semester 2009
The UWM School of Education-Outreach serves teachers, school administrators, counselors, psychologists, and supervisors in public and private/parochial schools through credit courses both on and off campus.
These courses provide opportunities for educators to expand their professional development, as well as fulfill certification requirements. In addition, Education Outreach offers continuing education credits and non-credit courses for those in fields of adult education, community service, social service, and health care.
Courses are offered on the UWM campus, at convenient off-campus locations as well as through distance education, and are scheduled at convenient times, including evenings and weekends.
Greetings from UW-Milwaukee's Education Outreach!
Dear Educators,
Welcome to Fall Session opportunities for courses through Education Outreach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Education. We are looking forward to serving your continued professional development needs through a wide range of required and supplemental courses.
We offer many courses and workshops to assist teachers, administrators and student service personnel to develop, implement and evaluate PDPs (professional development plans). In addition, we offer programs to assist educators in deepening their own expertise and professional practice based on special requirements of PI 34.
The School of Education-Outreach is dedicated to helping you have a positive and rewarding impact on student learning. Our courses are designed and offered by highly qualified faculty and staff who bridge the gaps between research and practice, with the ultimate goal of improving the education of each and every learner.
We encourage you to register and enroll early for all the courses and workshops that meet your individual and district needs. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or future course requests.
Sincerely,
Elise Frattura, Associate Dean, Education Outreach
